General information
Apulia or Puglia in Italian has two international airports, namely Bari Airport and Brindisi Airport. Bari Airport, named after Pope John Paul II (Karol Wojtyla), is the largest airport in the region. Bari Airport is also known as Palese Airport, after the nearby residential area of Palese. The airport has its own railway station from where trains and metros depart, you can reach the railway station via a pedestrian tunnel. Valle d’Itria (including Alberobello) known for its trulli is located a short distance from Bari Airport, in the midst of Bari, Brindisi, Taranto.

Bari Airport is located west of Bari, the capital of Italy’s most eastern region (Apulia/Puglia). The airport is easily accessible via the Autostrada A14 and a short stretch of Strada Provinciale SP54.

One toilet stall for man and one for women for all non-Schengen departure gates (4 gates), with no possibility to go back to the main part of the airport.... You have to wait in line and listen to the farts of the person inside. Dehumanizing.

Worst airport I have been at and have travelled a lot, dirty, staff in restaurants rude, one staff member for passport control for hundreds of people and worst of all one toilet in boarding area B for hundreds of passengers!

We arrive 3 hours before the flight.
It's delayed for 1,5 h and its not a problem, since of course can happen.
But to leave us outside the airport? Because it's not allowed to enter 2,5 h before the flight? Is it our fault That's it's delayed or what? Or may be of the airport? That's unbeliavble. With 0 locals opened, without possibility to get water, food and with closed toilets and with staff that putting responsibility on each other and repeating "we r not responsible for that". Well, someone is, no?
We do pay money for the service, and what do we get? Stay outside and wait and we don't decide anything? That's a shame by all the European standards.
